DMCaizu Co., Ltd. (Headquartered in Inawashiro-machi, Fukushima-ken, lead by Shoji Endo, President and CEO, hereafter referred to as "DMCaizu") has begun work on the "Aizu Terrace Project". The goal of this project is to contribute to the revitalization of Fukushima with the beauty of Lake Inawashiro, "Heaven's Mirror", and Bandai Asahi National Park's scenic beauty at its core.
Opening is scheduled for the Fall of 2025. The Aizu Terrace Project consists of two hard facilities, "Aizu Sky Terrace"* and "Aizu Sky Cable"*, which will elevate the charm of the Omote-Bandai (front-Bandai) area. It also includes three initiatives aimed at the sustainability of local resources and culture to create a sustaibable local community through environmentally friendly offset programs and local revitalization and collaboration plans.
In the process, the project also seeks to solve the issue of restrooms on the mountain as well as the restoration of the ski course landscape on Mt. Akahani, one of the peaks of Mt. Bandai.

(1) Aizu Sky Terrace*
A scenic outlook facility that overlooks Lake Inawashiro will be constructed just below the summit of Mt. Akahani, home of Inwashiro Ski Resort. This facility seeks to preserve the local vegetation and will provide both an indoor and outdoor space for visitors to relax and take in breathtaking views of Lake Inawashiro and its seas of clouds that you can't see anywhere else, all while enjoying a nice meal. It will be open all year, acting as a base for eco and geo-tourism, as well as trekking and other activities. In cooperation with the local community, many events centered around nature, culture, and more will be offered here.

(2) Aizu Sky Cable*
Bridging the gab between the base of the mountain and Aizu Sky Terrace* will be the Aizu Sky Cable, a gondola lift that creates an all new access route to climbers of Mt. Bandai. Thanks to the park-and-ride service that will be offered from Inawashiro Ski Resort's parking lot, the incredible views of Lake Inawashiro from the summit will be easily accessible to a wide array of people from seniors to children. Additionally, this new access route for mountain climbers
will reduce the crowding and environmental impact created by the concentration of visitors to the Happodai trailhead during peak season.
